The Course at Sewanee

Set atop Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau, The Course at Sewanee is a scenic nine-hole layout located on the campus of The University of the South. Originally established in 1915 and redesigned by Gil Hanse in 2013, the course blends historic character with modern design.

Rolling terrain, dramatic views, and strategic green complexes create a dynamic, walkable experience that can be played as a traditional nine or a varied 18-hole round. Open to both the university community and the public, Sewanee offers a pure and memorable expression of the game.
