Position Summary:

The Glen Club is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance of its assets, including hands on with building and equipment within and on the grounds of the clubhouse. The ideal candidate will help ensure these things by being self-driven, creative, highly organized, and meticulous in their work. They will work directly with the Clubhouse Manager and General Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment and facility maintenance: Ensuring that equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning, including building, office, storage areas and offsite unit, Halfway House on golf course and clubhouse grounds.
  • Repairs, painting, scheduling, assisting with outside vendors, scheduled PM and assisting Clubhouse and Rooms Manager with high level appearance of the clubhouse and its equipment.
  • Maintenance strategies: Developing ways to reduce downtime and increase productivity. Ensure cleanliness and organization is maintained throughout the entire clubhouse and grounds.
  • Scheduling and Logging: Scheduling maintenance tasks and responding to emergencies. Assist with recording in Maintenance Log of service call calls, repairs, and PM schedules.
  • Safety: Ensuring that all safety standards are adhered to.
  • Communication and teamwork: Coordinating with other departments to optimize the company’s use of resources and priority in which tasks are completed.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school, college degree, required or preferred.
  • 3+ year experience repairs and maintenance, specific to a club preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license. Driving record meeting Company safety policies and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate tools and equipment as applicable to the roll.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated quality verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
