Position Summary:

The Facility Coordinator for KemperSports is responsible for assisting in coordinating all aspects of facility management, including programming, maintenance, communication, marketing, and facilities planning. This is a full-time position, with primary responsibilities focusing on facility management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the assistant to the facility manager in the areas of general operating policies and procedures, safety and regulatory programs, and facility maintenance programs.
  • Ensure the facility is compliant in KemperSports Core Initiatives and company/client reporting requirements.
  • Assist the facility manager in the daily operation of the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment for participants, spectators, and employees. Enforce the facility rules including court and building safety.
  • Coordinate and monitor the facility schedule. Communicate with all clients to ensure organization and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the facility manager with managing building systems and maintenance communication.
  • Assist in the training employees for operational management of the facility.
  • Maintain employee schedules to efficiently maintain the occupied space of the facility.
  • Assist in managing all operational equipment in the facility, conducting inventory and ordering procedures in accordance with KemperSports policies.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of facility displays, signage, web page, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with the State of Indiana regulatory

 

Qualifications and Background

  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of facility management and hospitality.  Previous operating experience in youth/multi-sport facilities is a plus.
  • Personal strengths must include the ability to see the big picture, ability to identify the important issues, organization skills, attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving skills, and resourcefulness.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including writing and presenting reports.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including night/weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
  • Detail and results oriented disciplined by a strong concern for the accuracy and quality of the details of any work.
  • Respond positively and actively to challenge and pressure, always sure of an ability to handle problems and people.
