Position Summary:

The golf course grounds crew is responsible for performing daily maintenance and landscaping duties to ensure the golf course is kept in top playing condition.  The position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mow Greens, tees, fairways, and rough using specialized turf equipment
  • Perform bunker maintenance, edging, raking and sand replenishment
  • Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance equipment safely
  • Assist with irrigation setup, repair, and hand watering as needed
  • Set up tee markers, hole locations, and maintain on-course accessories
  • Apply topdressing, fertilizers, and other turf products under supervision
  • Complete general landscaping tasks including trimming, weeding, and debris removal
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate small machinery and power tools
  • Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Physically able to lift 50lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills and a positive attitude

Full-Time, Non-Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt
