Position Summary:

Provides beverage and snack service to golfers throughout the course using a beverage cart. Ensures excellent customer service while maintaining safe alcohol service practices and keeping the beverage cart stocked, clean, and organized.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the beverage cart safely throughout the golf course while following designated cart paths and course rules.
  • Provide friendly and efficient beverage and snack service to golfers on the course.
  • Sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and other approved merchandise.
  • Verify proper identification for alcohol purchases and follow all alcohol service laws and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and handle member charge transactions responsibly.
  • Restock beverage cart with drinks, ice, cups, snacks, and other supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when restocking is needed.
  • Provide excellent guest service and maintain a positive and professional attitude with members and guests.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Turn in sales reports at the end of each shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Required

  • High school diploma.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol in the state.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while covering the golf course.
  • Ability to handle all transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred

  • Previous beverage cart experience.
  • Experience in a private club, golf club, resort, or upscale dining environment.
  • ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Manager certification.

 

Classification:

Part-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience; higher compensation available based on qualifications and experience
